General Doblo keeps flash up engine failure

My 2006 1.9 Doblo sometimes cuts out and displays Engine Failure then it clears it self after 10 mins can anybody help

Need to read the stored fault code, if it's clears then it's intermittent, but these things tend to become less intermittent and more permanent.....
