We are now a Doblo-free zone. After suffering a series of breakdowns as described at https://www.fiatforum.com/doblo/432416-2012-doblo-mylife-1-4-16v-mystery-engine-fault.html , we decided we could no longer trust the vehicle as our long-term single family car. It has been repaired and then part-exchanged.
The P0504 brake switch A/B problem seems to be common to many Alfas, Fiats and Chryslers. I may contact VOSA and recommend a safety recall.
We have treated ourselves to a brand new Skoda Yeti. It lacks the boot capacity of the Doblo but otherwise it seems to be a very capable bit of kit.
I will keep an eye on the forum, but after 4 Fiats over the years, it will be a long time before I can envisage buying another.
