Technical doblo air conditioning

Can anybody shed any light of the correct amount of gas that should be put into a 2002 Doblo 1.9 diesel. Local dealer and specialists seem to be unaware of any specs for this vehicle.

There's no 'amount' as such as it all goes by pressure. When you buy a refill it will have a pressure gauge on it and the needle has to be in the green reigon when filling up then it is at the right pressure. This is on the low pressure line as directed by the instructions.

Why were you intrested in knowing the "amount"?

Local ''specialist'' has managed to cause a leak in the system while renewing the cam belt. Now tells me that can't regas system to test, because, cannot find tech. details for loasing of system. They are not regassing from diy cannister, but from recharge station. They tell me that a correct figure is neccessary. too much gas in system will not allow system to work.

Surely then it's their job to find out - after all you are paying them to do the work properly even your local dealer should surely be able to contact Fiat directly and find out?

From what I've seen of the proper recharge stations they have a built in pressure test anyway which should give them the correct pressure of the system... I could be wrong however

If I get chance I'll get back to my usual computer and have a look on my workshop manual and see if any figures are stated there - but I doubt it!

Should be clearly marked on the front panel under bonnet,something like 550+/- 10 etc...
