Diy garage, aberdeen.

Hey folks.

Has anyone used the DIY garage in aberdeen yet? if so, where is it and is it any good?

i need to carry out some essential maintainence soon but as you know, the weather is crap.

Whats that a garage you hire by the hr to do work on yourself? I asume with hydrollic ramps and stuff?

It shut ages ago. Unless its reopened.

And yeh, was an old workshop with ramps etc. Worked on a simple basis ie ten quid an hour to go in, use ramps. Two pounds or so to borrow tools from the place. On paper, a great idea and I did go up for a looky etc, but it seems no one was using it!

Would be nice if its open again like.

I'd love something like that since I'm in a poxy flat. I'm forever out in the street...and living in the centre of town draws quite a bit of attention!!

Why did it shut? I thought the guy was trying to franchise it?

It shut cause it wasn't making any money, was a good idea but I think the location was a bit hard to find.
