Technical Digital Tachometer Problem on Tipo 1993

Hi! I have a problem with my Tipo's electronic tachometer. The weird thing is that the tacho is working whenever it wants. Are there any suggestions on what is wrong with this matter? Does anyone have an idea where is the sensor from wich the tachometer recieves the signal?

You mean digital or eletronic tachometer ? There is a great diference in theese two words. It is based on the spark timing and ECU calculates engine speed from that data. And spark timing is based on the TDC sensor. It is possible, that your ECU doesn't compute engine speed sometimes or failing display panel.. if you have digital tachometer, then I would guess the second thing.
