Different Dip stick level on ether side

When checking the oil in my car I pull the dipstick out, wipe it, insert it back in, and pull it out again. When reading the level one side shows about 1/2 to 3/4 full and the other side totally full. Which side am I suppsoe to believe and why is that happening?

Ive parked it on flat ground so im bamboozled.

have you read the guide? it says if there is no oil on the dipstick get a longer one!

but seriously if there is oil on the dipstick u should be fine remember putting too much oil in is as bad as not having enough!

Mine did this aswell, when the dipstick is inserted, twist it around so the whole stick gets coated. Then look at any side lol
