Difference between spray wax and detailing spray

Whats the difference between spray wax and detailing spray??
Are they the same??

there is a difference between the two.

quick detailer is intended to be used in order to give the car a quick spruce up to remove very light contamination or to be used a lube with clay, it's a spray and wipe product, and offers no protection to the paintwork underneath. you don't need to apply a wax everytime you wash the car, so the quick detailer can be used at the end of your drying in order to get rid of any little watermarks and also add some shine.

whereas the spray wax does give some protection, needs to be buffed off when applied and should definitely not be used as a lube when claying the car.

yes, but only light contamination, nothing heavier than very light covering of dust.

autoglym just started doing one, its the quick detailer, i use it for shows. clean the car at home, drive to shows and clean when i get to the show, but it also adds a very small layer of wax according to the autoglym man...

the autoglym qd is ok no wax in it tho just plenty of silicones
