Did Fiat ever make or currently produce,

an equivilant system to VVT

me and a friend are trying to work out what companys made what specific versions, so far we have..

Alfa = T Spark / Twin Cam
Toyota = VVT-i
BMW = ValveTronic / VANOS
Porsche = VarioCam
Ford = VCT (Variable Cam Timing)
Honda = VTEC (the infamous VTEC)
Vauxhall/Opel/GM = DCVCP (Dynamic Continuos Valve Cam Phasing...) WHAT A NAME!

Well, there's Multi Air, and, apparently FIAT own one of the first patents on VVT. It's fairly well covered on ikipaedia. Even details of a truly wierd harold Porsche device using VVT and desmo valve gear.

IIRC, Alfa Romeo were a FIAT subsidiary at the time of the Alfa Twin Spark, but Alfa had an earlier VVT system, too. Some Puntos, I believe, used the 1800cc version of the Alfa/FIAT "twin spark" motor.
