Can anyone help? I have a G reg Tipo 1.6 DGT SX. The windscreen wipers (front) packed up totally on the way home tonight.
Changed the 20a fuse when I got in. This fuse blew straight away. Changed the wiper controlling column stalk to see if the switch was faulty and changed the fuse again, the fuse blew again. Changed the intermittent wiper relay. Again no difference. I temporarily changed the 20a fuse in the fuse box for a 30a just to see if the wiper motor still works. It does but the wipers now stay on all the time when the ignition is on regardless of whether the wiper switch is actually on.
In this weather I need wipers! Can anyone help please !!
