With the recession continuing and the company policy around company cars ever changing, combined with the fact that I live relatively close to work and the cars they give us incur quite a high tax impact I'm toying with the idea of jacking the whole company car thing in and getting a new car.
Tax and fuel contributions cost me about £230 a month and if I give the car up I'll be eligible for a £5k interest free loan to be paid off over 5 years. Can probably add another £5k to this myself so ~£10k budget.
Car must be aesthetically pleasing, 119g CO2/km or lower, hatchback preferably with 3 doors and comfortable on a run.
I already have a car in mind but thought I'd punt it on here for opinions and see what gets thrown up.
So first off, who can guess what I'm looking at and also, any suggestions?
