Decent mechanic in Newcastle anyone?

Hi everyone,

Can anybody recommend a decent mechanic or garage in or around Newcastle upon Tyne? It's just for the odd bits and bobs I don't have time for myself or can't do in my tiny unlit garage (I need to get the tappets reset on my x1/9 this week and don't have any shims or the right tools).

The few places I've taken my 78 lido for tyres, MOTs etc haven't filled me with confidence (What's that? Where's the engine?). Anybody know anywhere good?

Try alfatech on foxhunters trading estate at whitley bay.Were recomended to me my someone on here a few year back and i take my car no where else now.

If you dont mind going over to the dark side i had my fiat marea weekend 2.4jtd serviced&mot done they really look after the customers car i live in Reading and drove up to see my dad thought i get my car done as well far cheaper than berkshire
