is the decat for the 20VT the same as a 20V please??

Seems a bit of an open ended question.. From which manufacturer? In what respect?

its an after market one, supersprint, and ive heard that all of the after market manufacturers make them to fit on easily, however, i have heard that the 20 Valve, and the 20VT's have different systems, or require different parts for the systems! i have a supersprint from cat back already. Hope that has helped you in some way, if not, i dont know what else to say??

I don't know Smoo I'm sorry. I would have thought it would fit but with the N/A and turbo models having different requirements out of the exhaust it may well be different. You could just buy it and make it fit, that's what I did with mine, however there was a certain amount of bodging to be done
