Panda (Classic) Dance decals

The seller is the same guy asking about the air box... Checked out the other stuff for sale on eBay. Not sure at its all correctly labelled as panda and some stuff claimed as rare when it's not. Dance logos are nice though.

Whats not correctly described as being for panda? Anything nos and GENUINE has got to be getting rare. I haven't seen too many duplicates of my listings?

You believe it's rare, but you don't know for sure. Italy, poland and even your local fiat dealer is full of this stuff and due to the Internet it's happy days.

Your selling stuff on eBay...good luck with it. This is a forum for fiat owners and this section deals with the panda owners past/present and future. If you want to post your stuff in the classified section here go ahead. If not get on with the eBay sales and stop worrying about our discussions on here.

I liked the Dance decals though....these are available in Italy along with Young decals, Shopping decals etc etc.

:yeahthat:

It's like people tutting low mileage on a listing when selling a car because it below average. It doesn't make it low mileage though :bang:

So irritating, and don't make it sell any better.

Sorry fella, seemed to have upset you haven't I? Like I said before, I haven't seen too many duplicates of the stuff I am listing, that's why I might have described some stuff as rare. I don't study every website on the net, so I don't whats available in Poland or Nigeria . I'm interested to help anyone out with some of the harder to find parts, I know what it's like trying to find bit's for my alfasud. Not all forums are the same I know, alfaowner is a good one, relaxed and laid back and different to this one, if someone makes mention of a part they might have for sale or swap, it's all good. I'm not worried about your discussions on here and I'll do my best not to antogonize you.

Usually laid back and relaxed on here too. I for one can't see what all the fuss is about. Having trawled through all the ads for 'rare vintage sought after high quality' tat from China I certainly can't see much wrong with your listings. If people are looking for these bits, they can usually judge for themselves how rare or sought after stuff is and if the price you're asking is worth it to them. Good luck with the sales.

On the whole I think Matt's listings are fair, and I do get the impression that he has a genuine desire to get them right. After all, we are the ones starting these threads not him, and to have him contribute is quite refreshing I find. All too often people selling job lots of redundant dealer stock are after a qiuck buck for little work and don't bother to research the stuff they are unsure of, nor can they be bothered to find answers to peoples questions.
On a few of the listings I can see where Kev is coming from though. The black plastic side trims and clear ind. lens listings are over priced and the parts are still readily available so you may want to look at them again Matt. I'm sure these listings are a result of your self confessed limited knowledge of Pandas rather than blatant profiteering, but if you halved the start price of those three items I'm sure you'd get better results.

Incidentally, what's going on with the Sisley wheel centre cap!:eek::eek:

Thanks Vman, I'm doing my best with this stuff. I'm listening. One thing I might be guilty of, is using the same basic format for my listings and just changing a few words particular to the item. It is only to save time as doing ebay listings takes a long time, alright if you only have one item but not when you want to list a few things. I wish they could make it simpler, they charge enough. I'll work my way through it slowly, and if things don't sell then I'll consider dropping the starting prices. A lot of the stuff, I don't know where to start, I mean I thought £30 was fair for a panda fuel filler tube but it went all the way up to £170. Now we all know that wont happen everytime, so a good result on one thing is very welcome. I only have ebay as an outlet so that is why I thought about trying here. I thought it would get to the real enthusiasts easier. I know how hard it is trying to find stuff for old cars, when you own an alfasud, it's par for the course. I do try and find out as much as I can about the stuff and some it's easy. I don't want to mis-describe or mislead anyone. I'll always do my best to help anyone if I can. The sisley wheel centre was wanted by a desperate fella in Japan. I've owned a few fiats in my time, the best being the wonderful mk1 uno turbo but I've had a 131 and 127 years ago. My Mrs has her little punto sporting and me the two alfas.

How about a wanted ad in the classifieds? It will remain as a visible request far longer than your post here. (y)
