Technical Damaged front alloy

Good evening all,

Got home from work tonight and happened to look at my front driver's side alloy to notice this:-



Is this worth getting fixed, I have been so careful with them whilst parking etc given the fact I have only had them for two weeks it must have been a pothole as I have been giving curbs a wide birth. What do you guys think:-

1. Get it fixed?
2. Was this caused by pothole or curb?

Can't really see anything in the photo its too dark but I have 17" annoys and my 17year old son hit a pothole tyre flat big gink on inner rim would'nt even pump up and had to get a tyre. At the tyre shop they heated the inner rim and got the gink out no problem EXCEPT for brown heat mark. only thing is if its on outer rim you may have to repaint your wheel. You could try PLASTI-DIP

It looks like a pothole, because it's a pit, not a scrape.
