Technical DAB Radio Issues

We have a 500x Cross and we use the DAB radio all the time.

However, when listening to any radio station, it tends to cut out and display a message saying 'station not available'.

Is this the fault of the car, or does DAB Radio just have dead spots?

Dead spots. DAB, digital, either works or it doesn't.
It's like you getting static on an analog station, the DAB will just stop playing for a bit.

On certain DAB stations mine will switch to FM if I loose signal.

Our 500X Cross Plus seems to continually seek new frequencies which means as you're driving along the radio retunes itself, often then going back a second or two and plays the last 1 second again...really weird....but that's why we buy Fiats.

They may have their rough edges and unique problems. But we all love them in the end, eh?
