Technical Cylinder head gasket change

Hi all, about to change the cylinder head gasket and just wondered if there were any pit falls to look out for or any special tools needed? Also can anyone tell me if there is timing marks on the top cam sprockets so i can line it up when i replace the head. It's a 2.0litre 20v weekend.

I'm also going to change the cam belt at the same time using the excellent method on this forum.

cam timing tools, unless you make some sprocket marks before removing the belt.

no. as with many cars you will need to make your own marks.
