Technical Croma 2.2 MPi: Drive Belt and Brake Fluid changes

Can anybody help/advise please. I posted a message on Newbie General a few days ago asking for advice re change of auxliary drive belt and brake fluid changes on my 2007 Croma Auto. Are these DIY jobs? and any general advice will be appreciated. Thanks

If you have some mechanical knowledge I would consider tasks above as DIY. Biggest issue I see is setting the correct tension on the belt for which you need experience or proper info from ELearn on Croma you can download in our section. As for the brake fluid you need a helper and a lot of foot play if you're going to get out almost all of the fluid out. There are also some vacuum tools for sale in the 50 pound range that make the job easier but if the car is an 06 or 07 I would just refresh what is in the container under the hood (don't mix DOT types) and leave it be.
