Has anyone ever wondered how crap the turning circle of our Bravo is?

Check this out.

Yesterday I went down a very narrow spiral of a carpark without any problem, but to go back up i had to keep reversing move forward, reverse, forward...what the hell????!!!!

I find it to be quite poor, but to be honest i have got much to compare it against.

As most of my car have had a shorter wheelbase (not sure if that makes a difference), the only similar size cars i've had were the golf, which i found ok, and a prelude, which has 4 wheel steering.

I think your problem must down to the mechanism temporarily attatched to the steering within the cabin, nothing to do with the permanent mechanism under the bonnet.

i had a brandnew ren clio last year on rental, the turning circle on a bravo is amazing by comparison.

Not driven many front wheel drive cars now have you? :)

Try the Alfa 156/147 GTA, its FAR worse.

Or even try the fiat coupe, like driving a barge for turning round

or the honda integra type r or a calibra or a vauxhall vivaro. lol

I could just u turn my bravo on my road, none of the above could, but my dad's e-class could. spooky. lol

My hgt has a crap turning circle. the lorrys at work could turn in side my circle. is it about 11m the car park is just that.

Yeah Merc's have amasing turning circles!! cos you can get some serious lock on a merc and has anyone noticed when you lock merc and bmw wheels the wheel is not vertical - it tilts slightly?

You should try my Alfa 155, that is like an oil tanker but get it on the open road and you soon forgive it anything

Bravo turning circles - all thing are relative

All recent Alfas have really poor turning circles - I can't remember the exact excuse but obviously its the design of the front suspension.

After six years of driving Alfas, when I bought my Bravo I thought I was driving a London cab the turning circle was so good. Shame the Bravo handles a bit like a black cab when compared to my wife's Alfa 145 Twinspark. Roadholding is okay, just not so much fun.

Mind you, it could have been worse, if I had waited six months and bought a five door Stilo I would have looked like I was driving a London cab as well!
