I have been reading up a lot about best practice when changing clutches. Some recommend that you change the seal behind the flywheel as this can leak oil onto the clutch.
However looking at the diagrams on ePer for the Idea and Punto, I cannot see that such a seal even exists. Does it?
I have absolutely no sign of oil leaking out of the crankshaft. I am just curious as I have no intention of pulling the flywheel off.
I am working on a 1.4, 16v Petrol Idea.
