I no longer have my poor Multi but just wanted to share something I found while I had mine in case it helped.
I used to get a "mooo" noise from the car now and again lol
Very scary.
Guess what it turned out to be?
The tail gate gas struts!!!!
So if you ever have this, at least you know what it is now :)

I always thought it was something to do with the fuel tank, my 1st multi seemed to do it all the time in the summer months. But I've not heard it at all with my later model.

The other way around for me, my first Multi never made any kind of animal noise but plenty of suspension noises to make up for it :( ;) but we replaced the gas struts asap so maybe that's why

Ha ha, well the first job I did was new anti roll bar, drop links and wishbones because of the racket from the front. The drop links only lasted 5 minutes so I made sure the replacements were Fiat and they lasted 4+ years.

The first time I noticed the mooo cow was in a quiet field in Wales, I thought it was some strange animal under the caravan :D

A very small cow???? hahaha

Well that Multi had about every front suspension part replaced but still noisy, now I got one that makes moooo noises lol, there is deffo something about these Italian cars

:) The caravan is on the side of a mountain so there is a big gap underneath one end, it will be full of sheep right now, the blighters.

My nose job multi has a strange rattling on rough tarmac but the garage says everything's fine, thought it might be rattling disc pads because it stops when I touch the brakes but copper ease didn't cure it, I've learned to live with it.
