I have a Fiat Coupe 20v non turbo currently has Dunlops fitted.

I cant get hold of Dunlop replacements nor Pirellis as not in stock for days - they gave suggetsed Firestones as only option

What was fitted as standard to these?

Anyone know anything about Firestones or can recomend any other make

Thanks in advance

Kwik Fit - checked on computer thne made calls. could only get Firestones after calling 4 people

Kwikfit couldn't get another brand of tyres if they had 'otherbrandoftyres plc' over the road from them.

search yell.co.uk for tyre fitters and find yourself a little garage who will get you whatever you want.

Kwikfit wanted £98 per wheel for Pirelli P6000. My local got P7s (much better) for £78.

Two tyres to fit on the Coupe are Toyo Proxis and Falken 541's Or you could fit Goodyear Eagle F1's which are excellent. if you want a budget tyre, then fit Nankang or GT Champiro tyres. Stay away from the Firestones. They dont wear well and are not very grippy. Oh and if you have any sense, stay as far as possible from any Kwikfit outlet. They are fecking idiots parading as mechanics!! On the Coupe alloys, only have stick-on weights put on when balancing. Any other knock on type causes a leak on the alloy/tyre.

Thanks all for that. I will avoid kwik fit - only went there as convenient. Found a local place who will do the same tyres that are on there at present- Dunlop 205/50R15 - for £80 and in stock.
