General Coupe rear speakers???

Hi,
can any one help? i'm upgrading the stereo in my coupe and need to know the speaker sizes. i understand the front door speakers are 6.5" (17cm) but have no idea about rear speakers?? can anyone help?
also how do you get to the rear speakers? is it a big job?

The rears are mounted on the inside of the trim panels. They therefore move around *a lot*, and are rubbish.

The most popular answer is to use 6x9's which can be mounted to the body, either by just drilling in suitable places, or by mounting them on MDF, and then mounting that to the body. The latter sounds better.

Getting the panels out is reasonably easy, but you need to take the rear seats out first. The ski hatch one can stay in. The bolts for the back are in the boot.

Its also worth using some sound deadening while you are in there. Builders flashing tape is a budget alternative.
