Technical Coupe Brembo's on Mk2 Punto

Hi All!

I hope someone has the answer to this.

I have a Mk2 Punto Sporting and want to fit some 4 pot Brembos from the Fiat Coupe Turbo.

I basically want this for looks purposes as I don't want to revert to the plastic Brembo caliper covers!

Does anyone know if these are a direct replacement or would I need to do any mods...and again if so, to what extent?

Any help/advice is v.much appreciated.

You would need to get an engineer shop to fabricate some custom caliper mounting brackets, I think I read that Red Dot will sell you everything you need for the conversion for about £1000 (caliper brackets, calipers, discs, pads, brake pipes etc).

I'm looking to do this in the future as the standard discs look pathetic behind 17" wheels.

theres a group buy for the brackets on psc so you can do it your self cheaper

Bit OTT on a punto sporting aren't they (Except for looks) I know thats all you want but bit pricey just for a bit of eye candy surely?.

Saying that the disks and pads should last donkey's years as they won't be under much load.

Cool, will put my name down on that. According to dave's list Mk1 GT calipers fit a Mk2, so these brackets should be fine on a Mk2.

V.true...thus have to think of all possibilities before considering whether to pursue....
