Coulor Coded Bumpstrips

Hi calvert punto.
I did mine around a month ago. Was easiest and IMO the best looking mod for the price.
You have to wash it first. completely clean
Then mask off the surrounding area, with masking tape and newspaper. The more you use, the less likely to are to hit other parts of your car.
Then Primer, 2/3 coats should do.
Then 2/3 coats of your colour code
I didn't lacquer though but it has kept so it seems fine without it.

I see yours is a mk2b is it? I'm guessing your doing your bumpstrips on your bumpers yeh? As I can't see your door ones? maybe I'm just blind lol

Thanks alot,

Yeah ive removed the ones on the side but cant remove the ones on the front and back.

and i can get this stuff from any old place such as halfords?

Hi, you will need to find your colour code. I think on MK2/3's they are on the bonnet underneath. Take that code and number to halfords and they will mix it up. If, like for me, they had several different shades, you need to take the colour number and name to FIAT and they will sort you out but will be more expensive..
If my post helped you could always press the thanks button! bottom right of my post :p
