Might be sellin my uno, as i can afford a little bit nippier car as i have some noclaims now. but i was just wondering what i would be able to sell the car for? it is a uno 45ie fire, 1993, blue, perfect condition with 84k on the clock? anyone any ideas on price to sell at????

You serious Mort?! Any demand for RHD Unos?! lol - weird how different our second hand markets are....

My 94M 1.0ie Start Uno in very good condition and 71k will probs be up for sale for £475 in 6 weeks time, probably wanting £425 but will have to check the book price soon.

I paid £46 for my 1986 Uno 45S! Only had about a weeks MOT on it, but it flew through the test no problem last September. I've put 11,000 miles on the clock since I've had it, and it's now up to 73,000 miles. Pretty low for a 1986 car!

How much is yours worth? Difficult to say, but price is probably more dependant on condition rather than age. Check the 'competed listings' for Fiat Uno's on Ebay, and that will give you a good idea of what people are paying for them.

Unless it's a turbo, Uno's rarely fetch more than £350.......

Yeah, I'm serious. Take a look at www.t-rex.no. Choose Fiat, then Uno, and press "Søk bil" (search car). You'll see prices up to 40.000 NOK (which they'll never get. That's over 3000£ for an Uno! T-rex is a very good vehicle search engine in Norway.

Morten.

Haha, that prices on that page are insane. Okey, the prices in Scandinavia are higher than at the continent for used cars due to the way we treat them. (We keep them much longer and keep repairing them instead of buying new cars)

I can understand if a Volvo or an other "rustfree" car have a high second value, but a Uno in Scandinavia? The rust kill them in less then 15 years, so at least here in Sweden they are not worth more than 400-1000 euro. (Maybe up to 1500 euro in a car store)

In New Zealand if you had a 1993 Uno (with fuel injection - wow), it would be worth around $2000 (715 pounds) and probably more like $3000 (1070 pounds) if in really good nick. I've seen a 1994 Uno 70 SX (very unusual) sell recently for $4995 (1780 pounds) though that was at a dealer. Bear in mind that a 1994 car here can look like new because of no salt on the roads etc.

Most of our Unos are 1988 and earlier. There are few Mk2s around. Average price for a 1988 Uno in average condition: $600 (215 pounds). Bought my Uno Turbo (1988) last year for $2200 (785 pounds). A bit rusty around the rear shocks etc.

Just for your interest, of course (I was finding this thread interesting!)
