yea im very conscious of the supercharger, i would defnitly look out for that when buying one. rust is an obvious one tho i suppose you mean floor etc?
electrical problems im not so worryed about as i have learnt quite a bit about it over the years and have a few friends who know more than me. i didnt think parts would be a problem myself. fuel consumption, its alrite, its not abarth level like so it wouldnt concern me 2 much. the insurance it probably one of my biggest concern

well out of interest, wat yous think of the e30 3 series, coupe preferably. i cant afford insurance on m3 or possibly 325, so i would want a nice 316-320 e30 which i would replace each component progressibly, like brakes and suspension etc until i got to a new lump in a year or two time

Any 316 doesnt take skin off a rice pudding and is a waste of time buying one, will be an instant regret unless you are a tightwad or arent too bothered about perfromance. I dont think they did a 316 coupe either.

The 320 is not bad though

Any bmw is expensive to maintain due to the marque, they do have an excellent club scene though via forums etc and there are a number of specialists all over the place, a BMW service history is a must IMO be it dealers or specialists

e30's are old also - 1994 their run ended, so many examples will be high milers and/or tired examples. Immaculate ones will be fetching top ££££
