Just Wondering Bought Them Yesterday And Whatts The Easiest Way Of Fixing/Mounting Them, Is It Possible To Link Them Straight To The Original Fixings Of The Standard Base.
Im Not Using A Harness And Just Wanted A Straight Swap Pretty Much Anybody Any Info Or Suggestions Much Apprciated Cheers. ;)

You need some subframes for them to fit.

You also don't need to capitalise every word :p :)

Lol Nah Its The Font Im Typing In Plus Ive Got Used To Invoices At Work Lol Right Any Idea On What Frames And Weither I Would Be Able To Slide Them Forward And Back Thanks Again. ;)

I made my own mounts (not for corbeau seats tho) out of 3mm plate.

Similar to a set of sparco mounts i have but these are lower and a little more tilt on it

ditto, I butchered a set of cobra saxo mounts to make them fit a cinq. An easier option would be to buy the correct one tho, or universal ones. :p

Well Yea If It Is Just The Sliders I Wouldnt Mind Just Giving A Crack Myself If All It Is Is Just A Bit Of Welding Thanks Guys For The Input And Will Upload Pictures Of The Final Product Thanks Again. ;)

Lol Either Way Ive Just Told The Old Man And Said We Would Work Are Way Around It Bit Annoying Cant Do It At The Moment Waiting For New Alternator To Be Delievered Therefore Cars At The Work Shop So All I Can Do Is Sit I Them And Pretend For Now.
But Yea I Should Imagine Whatever I End Up Doing It Will Be Neat And Tidy Usually Is 'Hacksaw' Bit Brutal Lol Bit If It Worked I May Have To Give It A Go Cheers All. ;)

Don't forget the welding needs to be decent. I'd say 3mm steel as a minimum -- which is really outside the scope of baby MIGs (mine are 6mm dural).

:yeahthat:

Mine are folded and bolted together

Crappy pic of one

There not very good TBH, the folder at work put quite a big radius on the bend so it throws the measurements out.

Ill be making some new ones when i get a new seat as they'll be side mounted.

a baby flux core mig set should breeze a 6 mm plate weld all about preping
slight 'v' prep on the perant metals and away you go. wat matters is that its flat bar not plate ( but get the flat bar in no wider than 1 /34'' ) the let down will be when the mig set over heats and you have too wait 3 days for it too cool down, i burnt out 2 £80 migs sets rebuilding a mk1 fiesta xr2 told B n Q it just turned of got a stick set now with 4 cpu fans wired in lasts for ages now

oh and rover 200 sub frams for the above seats only need the front lip grinding off and 4 new holes drilling if you are too bolt them i have mine welded in

Im getting brackets so dont need to do any welding cheers though, also turns out edworthys.co.uk isd a massive scam so now got looksome where else for the frames dont use edworthys total waste of time nothing but a load of hastle
