Hi! For your 500C, Fiat recommends a phosphate and silicate-free, OAT (Organic Acid Technology) coolant. Usually it’s pink or red in color, sometimes branded as “Fiat Long Life Coolant”.
Key points:
• Always use coolant that meets Fiat specification TL 774-D/G12++
• Do not mix with old green or blue coolant. That can reduce protection and cause corrosion
• For filling and topping up should use distilled water + correct coolant mixture, usually 50:50 for concentrated coolant. Read the label, some makers sell it already diluted.

To resume, use any Fiat-approved OAT coolant (G12, G12+, or G12++). G12++ is recommended for newest additive protection, but G12/G12+ will work if it’s OAT and phosphate and silicate-free. Always use 50:50 with distilled water if concentrated coolant.
