Technical Converting seats?

I can guess the answer, but I thought it was worth asking...

Can front seats from a 5-door be edited to flip forwards like the 3-door ones do?

I think what you'll end up doing is taking the material and padding off the 5-dr seats, and fit them to the 3-dr seats? That can be done.

The 3 & 5 door seats share the same frames, the blanks for mounting the tilt mechanism are there, under the material & foam, so you just swap the mech over.

Take as many pics as you can when dismantling them tho, as the way the covers fit is easy to forget... expect a few of the cotton tensioning strings to snap too...
