Why use a line level convertor when cn+ has line level outs off the amp output on the rear panel?

I assumed they'd be the best bet!?

If not, why not?

EDIT
Just found connect nav wiring diag, the pre amp outputs on normal blaupunkt pattern harnesses aren't connected it would seem!

How have people got a subwoofer, especially a little one like I linked to to work?
I want to keep all my speakers working, just want to add a little thump!

You need to splice the line level converter into the rear speaker wires.

Like I said that's what I've done and it's working with a Connect Nav+ and an active Blaupunkt sub.

Can I add a question in here please??? Is there a separate sub channel at the back of the CN+? My amp's wired up to my rear speaker output channel, so although I have a throbbing bass I've never been able to crank it up as too much as I'm scared of blowing my rear passenger speakers. It also means that you get a tiny bit of treble and mid range from my sub which sounds poor unless you fiddle with the equaliser.
