About a month ago, I was driving behind a work truck. It hit a bump and a bunch of concrete splattered all over the front of my car.

How do I get it off without ruining my paint or having to sit there for a billion hours trying to scrape it off with my fingernails?

Thanks in advance.

I had a similar thing happen to our car, except it was me who splattered it.

If the car is wax'd and regularly polished the splatters will come off quite easily.

Unfortunately my car wasn't so I had to resort to using a childs plastic school ruler and gently scraping it off.

Be worth trying chemical removal before resortin to scraping

First try spirit vinegar in a spray Bottle let it soak for 10 mins (dont let it dry) then pressure wash off using a fan jet at a shallow angle. If that fails try cheap cola..... then also look at autoglyms fall out remover (pro product read safety data sheet) and last resort brick cleaner from builders merchant BUT TEST ON HIDDEN AREA FIRST Then pressure wash

I tried brick acid before scrapping, worked well. The bits I tried it on disappeared in about 15 seconds but I was unsure what effects it would have on the paint. Fortunately it had none but I wouldn't recommend anyone else doing it. Being a builder I had some to hand so gave it a try.
