I got around 14 par, or 200 psi on a 1242 P60 engine and that when the head gasket died. I removed all spark plugs, disconnected the crank sensor and kept the battery charged. This ways the engine has good speed to generate good pressure.
Again on the mk2 punto engines i had i got the following
CYl 1 Dry 100psi
CYL 2+3+4 = 200psi DRY
Cyl 1 Wet = 200PSI
meant piston rings had gone
the Head and pistons crown were badly carboned up
Donor engine fitted - 170PSI dry all around - 170/175 PSI wet all around
So as long as there all roughly the same 150psi+ i would have thought u'd be okay
