Hi folks. I had a long dent removed from my car door after scraping a wooden post. After varying quotes that were out of my price range, I found a guy who did it for half price. The dents have gone and I am pleased with the job but I now see that the colour has faded quite a lot. It is almost all of the door. I used T-cut on it to try to restore the colour but it did not work. Not that I know anything about restoring colour. Can anyone please give me some advice as to what I can do to restore the door, possibly by myself? Or does it mean a respray? Thanks for any advice.
Have a great day!

Has it gone dull like the lacquer isn’t there or is the panel just a different colour? If it’s the latter than I’d suspect it’s had previous body repair as paintwork normally fades at the same rate, especially on two panels the same side. Sounding like a respray may be the only option if that’s the case
