Hey,

Going to be getting a mk2 soon, black...but just curious...if i get one that doesnt have colour coded bumpers? I can get the sprayed somewhere right? Like a garage to do it professionally?

Anyone know anywhere in scotland? Glasgow, Edinburgh ect? And prices? Cheers.

Get one with coloured bumpers if you can! Garages can paint black bumpers but it takes a lot of work and it will not last- i.e it will flake off eventually

You could always jut buy colour coded bumpers from Ebay or a scrappy or something!

But loads of places will colour code them for you...its just a case of shopping around for the best price, but remember that the cheapest may not always be the best option. check with other people who have used them and see what they reckon of their handywork!

Cheers people, i know i would prefer colour coded bumpers, but i mean if its cheap and good, i dont mind and ill get the bumpers done somewhere professionally.

Cheers for that number mate, ill give it a ring if i ever need to.

Hey,

I got a set of sporting bumpers for my mk2, were the wrong colour put in the garage as we speak getting sprayed, got the bumpers for £50 and its costing me £220 to get the car totally colour coded (Bumpers, Mirrors, handles) and to get my side skirts colour coded. Ill let you know how its gets on and post some pics,

Good choice gettin an mk2 though bud (Y)

aye mate please let me know how it looks, id pay that to get everything done, mirrors, handels, side pannels, bumpers ect.

Aye iv got a mk1, but its time to sell it, mk2 here i come. lol.

Let me know the garage details ect or phone number or summin, cheers.

No problems, as i say I still havent seen the final results but hopefully gettin her back tomorrow.

The garage is in the West end of glasgow so i dont know how that works for you - right beside the train station though. And id suggest u remove the bump strips, looks much better. your best bet may be to keep an eye out for a sporting mk2 so it comes partially color coded, theres a couple more colour coded as standard but i cant remember what they are.

yeh west end of glasgow would be fine, and i would remove the strips at the side of the door. Is that what your talking about?

Post some pics when its done mate, but if i do get a mk2 without colour coded bumpers ill try get a set of colour coded ones off of ebay, or scrappys ect.

Hi Fannon
