Technical code light on cinquecento

I need some help!!!
there is a key code light on my dash board, i have had tests done but no one can fix it!
i had my key tested and the codes are still on it, so i gather it must be the readers in the car.
i read a thread about checking the earthing wires, but i dont know where they are!
please help i miss my car!!!!

My key code light sometimes flashes and then turns off again. Normally when you start it and put the key in the ignition.

What is the car actually doing, or not doing?

Is the pump priming?

Check +13v on ecu pin 35 with ignition on
check immo connecto pins 3 & 8 with ignition on for +13v
check key antenna for good connections into immo
check antenna ristance approx 30 ohms
if all ok send off immo for testing.

im really sorry but i dont have a clue about cars, where will i find all these things `reddy4bed`?
the code light stays on all the time.
the car isnt doing anything, i try to start it doesnt tick over.

Probably too much information! Still, you could take that to an auto electrician........

If the car is an 1108, you could fit a McCritch chip to bypass the immobiliser altogether.

If you tell us whereabouts you are, maybe someone local could take a peek?

The car does 'nothing', correct.

When you say 'tick over' do you mean turn over?

i think so when i turn the key it makes the normal noise a car does but doesnt start.

So it is doing something, its turning over, as in the battery is turning the engine, yes?

Sounds familiar. It sounds the same as the problem i had with my black one. It's fixable, but may need a new ECU.

it yets that far then does nothing, it just wont start, what is the ecu?

To put it another way, do you hear a faint whirring noise for a couple of seconds?

Dont think this can be sorted out by "push this button type" of answer. You need to take it to an auto electrician and go from there.

yes when i first turn the key there is a whirrling sound.
