Anyone else do this?
Only going 'up' the box, clutchless downchanges are damn-near impossible on car engines...why can't they be like Bikes, silky-smooth changes up and down without the clutch? (y)

Seeing as the Multipla clutch is a little 'fragile', it makes sense not to use it any more than is neccessary ;)

Only in emergencies I've used clutch less gear changes. (clutch was broken)
With practice the down changes are doable. But it's easy to grind the box.

I recommend to use the clutch all the time !

out of interest WHY is it that the clutch is fragile? Mine was replaced at 60k - the mechanic said "just the thrust- clutch was fine"
Is it likely aftermarket or later parts were better? Mine appears fine (84k) but just has a slightly funny feel.... like I dont trust it...

Multipla clutches are made by Valeo or LUK who make clutches for 75% of european cars. Are they that fragile or is it that because Multiplas are used as cabs and parents school/sports minibuses the clutches get more use? I don't see a disproportionate amount of Multipla clutches, the most common vehicle I deal with is the Ford Fiesta.
