clutch problems

hey hoping someone can help i have a 1998 fiat bravo 1.4 sx a screeching noise has started coming from the which gets alot louder when the clutch is pressed believe it could be the thrust bearing or perhaps the entire clutch needing replaced wondering if any one has any advice on what the problem could be and wondering if any one has manuals explaining how to fix the problem?

sounds like the thrust bearing as you say but it's false economy just replacing that on its own.You might have to renew the rest of the clutch in 6 months. Change all 3 parts of the clutch

needing service manual to change clutch

im wanting to try and replace the clutch myself does anyone hav any service manuals on how to do it?

You could try the haynes manual, Quite a difficult job if it is the first time you have done a clutch. Very easy if you know what you are doing
