CLUTCH PROBLEMS PEOPLE! :-(

my clutch pedal keeps hitting the floor and the bite gets lower as a result! when i lift it up with my foot, it sorts itself out again and the bite gets higher...

im guessin its sumin to do with the auto adjuster or clutch cable......

Any ideas anyone?

If its a hydraulic clutch then the slave cylinder has sprung a leak, its quite common.

Look ontop of the gearbox for a puddle of fluid.

whats the remedy for this then? is it cheap n easy?

Yeah, either go to a garage and ask them to do it, about £30 for parts and 30-60mins to fit

or

get the bits yourself, some brake fluid and a bleeding kit (and ideally a willing helper) and sit down with some spanners and a haynes manual.
