hey guys,

last week i bought the bravo 1.4 turbo 2011 mileage 0 km .

yesterday i endured some traffic on my way back home, ( for almost 10 minutes), suddenly a beep sound and a message on the dash board stating that the " CLUTCH OVERHEATED" , i remember that the dealer Saad Trad , informed that i should put N when i am in traffic , but sometimes the cars keep moving in traffic not stalling ...

any hint guys ?

moreover, after that when i driver longer than 1 hour i start to hear from the inside is small sound of "Krrrrrrrr" i dont know what is it "it may been the boiling water in the heater tube system ?

i dont know really if anyone had such sound before!
:idea::idea:

If it happened only once then there's no problem.

If it keeps happening then take it to your dealer and have it fixed under warranty.

When in traffic and you know you're gonna wait for more than one minute you should put it in N to spare the brakes and clutch, if it's a short stop then holding the brakes is enough.

thank you Tad.

for now it happened once, but i feel that it's logic that it would reoccur if i got held in traffic ... anyhow hope that it's just a warning only that will come up just to warn you to adjust your driving style in order to prevent burning the clutch ...

and the breaks alone could hold the clutch from overheating !

thnaks again

I've seen people driving with there foot resting on the clutch and this does burn the clutch out as well also holding it a biting point for too long
