General Climate control display lighting

Hello

I just wonder if the display next to the gearstick for the air conditioning is meant to light up with the lights on. Everything else seems to light up fine, but not this display. Its been like this since we bought the car. I assume there is a backlight there? If so is it just a bulb?

Yes, it is supposed to be on with the lights!

Funnily enough, ours stopped working last week - but I bashed the side panel, and it came back on

the 2 first steps in this guide (by Bombus from Eurovan2.com) will show you how to remove the panel to try and find this bulb underneath.
