Clicking Noise on Brava 80SX

Does anyone have any idea what could cause a clicking noise on the overun ? Touch the throttle and it instantly disappears. It ddoes not appear to be related to the exhaust and I can find no loose mountings.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Shake rattle and roll?

Is it a bit rattly? There is a cowling around the exhaust manifold which corroded very quickly on mine. One of the bolts which holds it in place had come away from the metal of the cowling. I put a washer front and back and tightened it up again.
