Cleaning Stainless steel manifold

hi there

i recently got a new performance manifold for my punto , i was just looking to see whats the best way to try and keep it silver as it is just now? , its already turned a shade of gold with the heat and i understand that it will change colour with the heat but is there any way to get the original colour back for a short peroid of time , ive tried autosol and alu so far but they just seem to make the gold colour more shiney.

i doubt you can do much as its a natural condition.maybe best heat wrapping it.
maybe in black?

I have this problem with my motorbike, either lots and lots of hard polishing with autosol or live with it.

where you get coloured wrap? i want blue

I wouldnt advise wrapping a stainless steel manifold as the heat build up CAN cause micro fractures in the material

Use a fine wet 'n' dry sandpaper, then Solvol.
