Clay over polish layers? Help

Hi there!.. I've polished my car a few times now with autoglym high resin polish.. The paint is starting to get smoother but I want to clay bar it now.
Can I clay bar my car over the layers of polish that are now on the car?.. Please help a newbie! ..

yes but you will need to re-polish afterwards


Super Resin polish does contain some protection however its short lived

if using SRP i'd finish it off with a coat of Extra Gloss protection

Thanks for the quick reply, sorry for my late one!. So basically if I give it a good uber clean with warmish water, I can attack it with the clay bar now?.. Even through polish is still on there? The polish is still layered on I can feel it on there

i'd buy a pre wax cleaner first

not worth the hastle dave the Clay will remove the majority of the SRP anyway
