civic-type-r vs moded hgt

i know some of you will doubt this but the three times ive come up at the lights next to the new civic type-r ive pissed it 3 out of 3,all ive had done to my bravo is a super chip,powerflow inc the cat and a k+n and the handling full konis tarox disc,s,

Which is all very well

But if he performed similar mods to his car he would **** all over you. People who mod cars just don't get this as a basic fact. The age old "since I put yah yah yah yah on my car it is faster than this that
2 and the other buth if you did the same mods to this that and the other then that would be quicker!

I had a 10 mile "set to" with an Audi A4T yesterday only because he had a number plate of R9CER, so I thought OK ****, lets see how you can handle a car at speed. Well MR R9CER is now a very embarrased A4T owner who was advised in no certain terms when we ground to a halt that 1. If he wanted to drive fast, get a faster car and 2) his driving didn't warrant the number plate.

Moral of the story is if you want to drive fast, learn to drive a car on a track day and obtain a racing license then practise. For the same amount of money you spent on your mods you would be able to out drag 99% of cars on driving ability alone.

I have to agree. A lot of people thing they're really good drivers but they don't know an apex from a crest. I have a freind who drove a slightly modded 1.2 corsa and used to regularly embarrass the big boys in their fiesta turbos. Being totally mad helps too.

Disagree with U but Not so much.

The fact is that U dont need too much money to make a car faster than standard. This guy came up a CIVIC TypeR with only a few things!!!
This is what I mean: you CAN´T buy a faster car with cost of such things (powerflow, sport chip, etc).
Used Bravo HGT + (powerflow, sport chip, etc)
