Hi,

Just think about the naming of the Cinquecento/Seicento section of the forum,

in my opinion this is ok for current UK owners, but new owners in Europe have this called the 600...

we are a "world wide" forum, so surely to cater for the users in other countries we should add the "600" tag to the forum..

Every Sei i saw in Barcelona had the current Fiat Badge (red oval) and the little chrome bits. and a 600 badge. and its on Fiats listings for Italy/Greece/Spain

yes, Seicento is 600 in italian, but surely if they were all rebadged 600 and still sold as that we should add that to the forum (y)

I think Cinquecento and Seicento is enough, i know in poland there are 600 models but even they know what it means. I thought the 600's were the models after they ended in the UK and were called 600 to continue the line in those countrys? All they did then was to add different colours, a bit of chrome on the front (classic 500/600 style) and a 600 branded interior? :p

still rebranded a 600..

ive been told many a times that this forum is a world wide forum, so surely we should add it for them.

We've got a Punto EVO, despite it been just a facelifted GradePunto, its a continuation of the brand. which is the same between Cinquecento & Seicento. A facelifted model, with a different name..

We've got models on here not sold in the UK.

The Sei as we know it is still sold, as a 600.. thats its name now in Europe..

If this happened while it was sold in the UK people would expect the 600 name to be added to the name tag, so whats the difference?

You couldnt call it 600 in UK because rover had rights to the '600' name for their range at the time, thats the only reason that i am aware of

if it really was a problem, then people wouldnt make their way to the section and there would be questions all in the wrong place, but the poles and the dutch and everyone else seem to find their way there regardless, in fact very few of them refer to their cars as the 600 and call it the cinq or sei
