That IS cheap! :eek: Even taking into account the lack of demand for the 2.4 gas guzzler :D

Must be something amiss with it, surely?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but looks genuine from the (few) pictures on there. Plus he sounds pretty desperate, I wonder if he'd take an offer :p

That said, don't have anywhere near enough cash for it anyway. Still, PH is always a marvellous place for window shopping :D

i got offered 3,500 in part/ex:bang::bang::bang::bang:

so its a good price(y)

If only my finance was finished, I could get the £2.5-£3k for my current car and take out a loan for the other half :D

God, you'd have so much fun going from a 1.2 to the 2.4! :D I'll tell you now that the engine is lovely and the exhaust note... I still can't help opening the window and dropping a cog when I go through a tunnel :D

I know, I've never owned or in fact driven a car that does 0-60 in under 10 seconds :rolleyes: though that's not to say I haven't had plenty of fun driving the cars I've tried ;)

I've seen a video Red did of his on Performance Stilo and it indeed sounds fantastic. It's one of the few Italian cars I'm considering as my next machine, so pondering what they'll be worth in 2010 or so when I wave goodbye to Fiat Finance.

even better with a straight through:cool:

i went from a 1.2 8v punto, to this, and :cool::cool:

test drove and had to buy:yum::yum::yum:

mainly just to give my mates yaris t-pot a kick up the arse ( him and his mate had one and bein cocky about bein able to beat my punto:confused: hmmmm 1.2 8v punto 1.5 16v yaris, with twice the bhp, they wernt laughing for long)(y)

That's good news that's it's just the variator dropping your bhp. It's not cheap mind but a shed load cheaper than the other possible expalnations were! ;)

it WILL be done under warrenty anyway, as the garage that said it was fixed assured me it was, and a number of letters are going and ready to go to fiat uk incase they dont play ball, so if it is anything extra i aint paying.

its either fix the variator that i have moaned about for ages, but wouldnt replace:confused:

the inlet cam is dying and taking the variator with it or vice versa,

or i make them so fed up of seeing my car, they agree to a full new engine and not a short one they did with this, which all the problems stem from:bang:
