My black 2022 500x Sport has one black mirror and one grey, the drivers side one got smashed and the dealer couldn't see it was the wrong colour and I'm fed up with chasing to get it sorted and they can't/wont do anything, saying they can't get the grey/silver paint and won't paint the grey/silver one black either.

Had enough, so would like to change the grey one for a black one.

I can't find how to change them

Is it the same as a 500, where you pull the glass off and release the clips from the inside?

Well its done!

Bought a black painted cap of a guy in Wakefield for £35 On Line Painted Parts

Bought a set of trim tools off ebay as well

Its not the same as a 500 or 500 Abarth, you don't pull the mirror glass off

The only instructions I could fine were from the USA and they said start at the top. This is wrong.
Start from the bottom working the trim tools and work round, you can feel it moving and when the top loosens of, it pretty much lifts clear.

Putting the new one on is easy, make sure its going to locate on the tabs and loops and it clips on

When you think about it, they make them quick and easy to fit in the factory.
Its not bad, be patient and take your time and it takes a few minutes

Happy days
