right, hope someone knows about this...

im with adrian flux, paying monthly.

i going to sell my car soon, and i wont have a car for a while (few weeks probably), while im looking, and then once i have a car, it should be cheaper than my current one to insure.

my insurance says-

if you change your vehicle or wish to change your policy in anyway we MUST be advised beforehand

what the hell does that mean? i have to tell them before i sell it that im selling it? and what do i do when i sell it and dont have a car for the few weeks? just keep mine insured until i find the new one even though i dont own it? is that allowed tho? lol hope someone understands what im asking! thanks.

It means if you change your car by adding a bad boy exhaust you tell them before the car crashes not after or if you but a new car and wish to swap the policy over you arrange it before you pickup the new car and drive it up someones tailpipe. If you sell the car you're probably best tell them when you are no longer the owner.

Well im the expert at this as I've had no less than 6 cars since I was 17...

Every time I've bought a new car and just ring the insurance when your ready to pick up the new one and they do it while on the phone. Some company's may charge for new documents and if its a cheaper to insure car then you should get a refund or a reduction.

And as thepottleflump says would be advisable to tell them once you sell the car incase the muppet crashes into something and leaves the scene.
