I had a problem with the ceiling lamp not working (no. 1 in the picture), even after checking the bulb and fuses.

It turned out that the metal pin didnt have a good connection.
This can be caused by two reasons:
  1. oxidation between the contacts
  2. bad connection due to material fatigue
In both cases you have to take it out of the vehicle, remove the front transparent cover. To make my life easier, I took off the button too (watch out, there are two springs). Under the button you'll find a roller that is pushing the metal pin onto the base plate every other click of the button. Then you just have to find something to help you clean between the contacts. I had a piece of wire covered in some cotton wool that I sprayed with a contact spray.
This didnt do the job for me, so I had to bend the pin slightly, so the roller is pushing it towards the base plate a bit stronger. That did the trick for me.
