Right! After weeks of fault tracing, trying different things etc, I now see why my Multipla 1.9 JTD isn't starting.
The fuel pressure when cranking is about 30 bar and should be in the hundreds I guess before it turns on the injectors.
My question to you guys is would this be the high pressure pump itself?
I can find no leaks anywhere, injectors are fine, battery is new, lift pump if fine and delivering about 1.8 bar, and all sensors are good.
The only thing I have left is the pump and the pressure regulator on the pump but the scan while cranking shows the regulator is opening up but I suppose that doesn't mean it's actually opening in real life maybe so who knows??
Also the problem seems to be worsening as I used to be able to start it with Easy start to test the car while running but can't hardly now and haven't bothered anymore as it's not a good thing.
Any ideas, I'm all out :(

mine would not start for a long time had to spray it with easy start in the end it was the crank sensor
